Mitch McConnell Says He Doesn’t Recall Blocking Any Supreme Court Seats

Washington D.C.—

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters today that of course he would let Trump fill a vacancy in the Supreme Court, even if the vacancy occurred following a Trump election loss.

Reporters pointed out to him that would be hypocritical after blocking Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland and McConnell asked “Merrick who?”

McConnell then bit into a head of lettuce and nibbled on it as he walked down the hallway of the Capitol building.
